Still considered a Jewell in the crown for the newly opened Flowtech WA branch at the time was the new QE II Central Energy Plant. The QEIIMC existing demand and future expansion, which included the new Children’s Hospital, meant a significant size CEP was to be installed. Flowtech Western Australia felt extremely privilege to be engaged by CMS Engineering early on this project to assist in commissioning co-ordination, programming and management and then further complete the onsite commissioning works on this large district plant serving chilled water, high temperature hot water and medical gases to the facilities within the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre Precinct, including the Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, State Cancer Center and the new Children’s Hospital.
